Karen Carraro is a Kripalu Certified Yoga Instructor who incorporates fun, relaxation, restorative and therapeudic benefits into her classes.  She specializes in Therapeutic Yoga to help preserve movement and muscles of independence, while helping her students expand their range of motion,  pulmonary function and cardiac strength.  She is also a certified "Divine Sleep Yoga Nidra" meditation instructor and has completed the Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction course at the University of Pennslyvania.  Karen uses Yoga Nidra, MBSR body scans and mindfulness meditation techniques to help elicit a relaxation response which can be helpful for treating pre-hypertension and other stress related issues such as insommia and menopause.
